Hop Lane

Access info

Discover Ballarat's striking Hop Lane. It is hard to miss the magical umbrellas floating from the sky.

Located along the vibrant Armstrong Street North, nestled between bars Roy Hammond and Hop Temple you will find Hop Lane. A canopy of colourful umbrellas hang overhead, and are on display all year-long, with their colours changing throughout the year.

As you move further down the laneway you will find the Hop Queen herself, an iconic mural created by local illustrator Travis Price.

Hop Lane offers memorable moments for everyone to enjoy, so don't forget to bring your camera.
